Je suis Charlie

Quels événements tragiques à Paris la semaine passée.....soutien et pensées pour tout le monde dans un état de choc. La presse libre est très importante en France, et le magazine, Charlie Hebdo, va continuer sous d'autres formes de continuer son journalisme.

Mais il faut absolument connaître que les actes de terrorisme au nom d'Islam ne représente pas du tout le vrai Islam comme religion. La France a une longue histoire de difficultés religieuses, notamment entre les Catholiques et Protestantes (au passé, évidemment).

Nous sommes tous "Charlie" au nom de la liberté d'être vous-même.

Charlie était pour Charles de Gaulle, qui a dit "Vive le Québec libre"......alors dans cet esprit....
"Vive la liberté personnelle!"

Learn common vocabulary, and how to structure sentences and questions to participate in real conversations. Great to prepare for a trip, get ready for a credit class or just as a refresher course. Short projects get you using real language skills to learn about French culture.

BEGINNING FRENCH TERM 2 / INTERMEDIATE  
Improve your basic French skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing with more vocabulary and verbs on everyday topics. Designed as a continuation from Beginning French, but is open to anyone who has had previous French experience but wants more practice forming basic sentences (present, past & future tenses). Offered in two settings: evening and daytime.

Learn to pronounce those common (but possibly troublesome-looking) French words you see everywhere related to wine! Covers vocabulary to discuss French grape wines, traditions, etiquette and tasting. Confidently pronounce any word you see on a bottle, at a restaurant or at a store!

RESTAURANT MENU FRENCH

Learn to pronounce common words and expressions found on menus and used in the culinary world. Includes regional cuisine, ordering and restaurant etiquette. Say with confidence any word you see on a menu, in a cookbook or at a restaurant!
